We currently have a career opportunity available for a Manager, Regional Blood Bank at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida
The Manager, Regional Blood Bank supervises the staff, oversees the contracted employees and assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Additionally, will have direct responsibility for the testing within the department; overseeing the contractual relationships with the laboratory vendors; and working in conjunction with the facility managers and the Directors to assure proper turnaround associated with team resources, quality reporting, infectious disease reporting, education, marketing and processing expense and billing information to the appropriate departments.
Required Licensures include Clinical Laboratory Technician and Lab Supervisor, in addition to a Florida Driver's License. Additional skills include knowledge of clinical lab operations. Requires Blood Bank certification/licensure (or obtained within 6 months), Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience.
