Senior Quality Program Data Analyst
The Senior Quality Program Data Analyst provides expertise and oversight of quality data management, analysis and reporting. This position also utilizes and manipulates a variety of data platforms, formats and applications, facilitates creation of reports integrating numerous data sources, and construction and maintenance of dashboards and dashboards elements. The Senior Quality Program Data Analyst leverages expertise to provide support to key functional areas of the Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) Division and throughout the enterprise. Collaborates between the QPS Division and other departments, service lines, clinicians and vendors. Will continuously improve divisional data analytic and reporting strategies and capabilities
Master's Degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Business Administration, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
7 plus years of experience in data management and analytics in a healthcare setting.
5 plus years of analytic experience in data warehouse, data mart or other big data settings.
1 plus years of experience with EPIC EMR and other healthcare software / applications.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or must be obtained within 18 months from Date of Hire through the National Association for Healthcare Quality or other accrediting body
Skills or Special Abilities:
Must be able to work within an interdisciplinary team model.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel.
Must have a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, VISIO, SharePoint) software, SPSS, SQL and Web Intelligence.
Must have a working knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS) and clinical applications.
Must be a goal self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues in similar roles
