Memorial Hospital and Manor (MHM), a not-for-profit community hospital located in Bainbridge, Georgia has retained Witt/Kieffer to aid in the recruitment of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
MHM consists of an 80-bed community hospital, 107-bed long term care facility and a 22-bed personal care facility. Established in 1960 and owned by the Hospital Authority of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County, the facility continues to grow to meet the needs of Bainbridge, Decatur County and the surrounding communities with a dedicated team of physicians, employees, and volunteers.
Reporting to the Hospital Authority of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County, the CEO will have responsibility for the operating and quality performance for MHM and in shaping institutional strategy and clinical program development to further strengthen MHM’s position in the region. The CEO will ensure organizational integrity, the provision of high quality care, efficient operations, financial solvency, and the development and implementation of a strategic plan that accomplishes the mission and vision of MHM. The ability to identify and develop a “brand” that leverages the strengths of the organization’s current services and infrastructure will be essential.
Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree with a minimum of ten years senior executive and healthcare leadership experience. Experience in a rural market and an understanding of healthcare regulations and reimbursements specific to rural hospitals is strongly preferred.
